In the words of the judgement, the prosecution has miserably failed to prove the case against Sant Rampal Ji and His followers: Dr. Om Parkash Hooda, Rajender Das, Baljit Das, and Bijender Das. Thus, they are acquitted of the charges leveled against them.

Prosecutors Failed to Prove the Charges

Troubled by the truth, the Superintendent of Police at the time brought an appeal of the High Court against Saint Rampal Ji on 22 July 2014. On 10 November 2014. He was summoned to be held in contempt by the court, which He was not able to attend due to His illness. The court issued a dated 17 November 2014 Non-Descriptible Arrest Warrant for Saint Rampal Ji. Unfortunately, even this time He was unable to do so because bed rest was prescribed until 19 November 2014. He submitted His medical reports to the court but was ignored.
On August 29, 2017, Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj was acquitted of false charges of wrongful confinement. The Haryana Government currently has custody of the Satlok Ashram, Barwala. Despite numerous obstacles, He gained support, and His followers continue to grow even today.
