World Food Day was first established in November 1979. The idea was suggested by former Hungarian Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr Pal Romany. Since then, the day has been celebrated by more than 150 countries around the world. It is an initiative by the Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations.

दशहरा हिन्दुओं का एक प्रमुख त्योहार है। भगवान श्रीराम द्वारा रावण का वध किए जाने के उपलक्ष्य में दशहरा मनाया जाता है। दशहरा का त्योहार दीपावली से कुछ दिन पूर्व मनाया जाता है। इस बार 26 सितंबर को नवरात्रि शुरु हुई वहीं विजया दशमी (दशहरा 2023) का पर्व 24 अक्टूबर, 2023 के दिन मनाया जाएगा।

Dussehra (Vijayadashami): Dussehra, also popularly known as Vijayadashami & Dashain, is one of the major Hindu festivals celebrated at the end of Navratri. This year, Dussehra festival will be celebrated on October 24, 2023 Wednesday. The day witnesses  'Shami puja', 'Aparajita puja', and 'Seema avalanghan' rituals. The readers will know if the rituals are conforming to holy scriptures and what is the correct way of worship that fulfills the purpose of human birth. 

The International Day of the Girl Child celebrated on October 11, is an attempt to raise awareness about the issues that girls face. This year's events range from seminars to the launch of a campaign to end child marriage. To commemorate the occasion, the United Nations stated that this year they will advocate for equal access to the Internet and digital devices for girls, as well as targeted investments to provide them with meaningful opportunities to use, access, and lead technology.
