The virus started infecting humans through the meat of camels. The infection was confirmed to have killed 8000 people in 8 months.

God’s constitution is not about eating meat

There is no order to eat meat in the Srimad Bhagavad Gita and the four Holy Vedas, the Holy Book of Hinduism. Hindu society had always avoided eating meat. But now, even some of the Hindus eat meat, which is against the constitution of God.

■ Holy Guru Granth Sahib

There is no evidence of eating meat in the Holy Guru Granth Sahib nor the founder of Sikhism, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji ever ate meat. Guru Nanak Dev Ji himself used to eat vegetarian food. But now, most of the Sikhs eat meat which is against Sikhism. As discussed above, meat-eating is against the Law of God.
