History of National Technology Day

The then Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee conceived this appellation to mark the contributions made by Indian scientists. On May 11, 1998, the nation successfully launched and tested the Shakti-I nuclear missile at an Army test range at Pokhran in the Rajasthan state of India. On May 13, the nation organized two more nuclear tests two days later in the continuity of the same operation.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was heading the team that conducted the nuclear tests. India became the sixth nation to join the elite club of nuclear power nations. The First time, NTD was commemorated on May 11, 1999. Since then, the Technology Development Board pays respect and honors to the scientists and engineers for their technological inventions. These innovations have considerably enhanced utility to national progress.

Significance of National Technology Day

The National Technology Day is significant for India’s glory as the nation conducted the nuclear tests on May 11, 1998. This test made India capable of developing Thermonuclear weapons and fission bombs indigenously. These tests were guided by distinguished aerospace scientists and the then principal scientific advisor to PM, APJ Abdul Kalam.

The Indian Army, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research (AMDER), and Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) collaborated to make the nuclear test happen. The day is significant, as on May 11 first-ever indigenous aircraft Hansa-1 tested flight and the DRDO tested the surface-to-air Trishul Missile.

Technology for War And Unrest Or God’s Devotion For Salvation?

There is no doubt that humans have made a lot of progress in the field of science and technology. These innovations have consumed a lot of labour, money and time, or rather wasted. Needless to mention humans need nothing but two meals. The investment in time, labour and money everywhere does not yield many fruits. Ignorantly, humans made efforts in science to develop shortcuts to save time and achieve better comfort.

But the same efforts, if invested in Sat-Bhakti can result in any kind of achievement. Why do we choose nuclear weapons, war and unrest and why not God’s devotion to attain salvation? Today, the development of nuclear weapons proves that man chose war for defense as well as attack for expansion. Years after the war,  laments of women and children are heard, and only the remnants of humanity are left behind.

The Greatest Power is The Supreme God, Kavir Dev

It is worth noting that we considered the greatest power to be the one having nuclear power, but that is our ignorance. The greatest power is the Supreme God, Kavir Dev, all other powers of this universe are incomplete. The Supreme Father possesses absolute powers. We have created problems for ourselves by not adopting true devotion and by forgetting our Supreme Father.

Today, powerful countries around the world have nuclear powers that are considered as the greatest, but have they not proved powerless to a small invisible virus? Is the virus bigger than nuclear power? Can nuclear powers cancel our subsequent births? Can they change the account of our virtuous and sin deeds? Can these powers prevent the death of a human being? Definitely not.

Jagatguru Rampal Ji Maharaj Is The Only Enlightened Sant

Why, then, should humans invest their time and labour in worldly powers? Today, the whole world needs to bow down to the supreme power who can do everything. But we have not yet recognized Him and His key messages. The absolute Supreme Reality is Kabir Saheb. All scriptures prove this very fact. Yes, He is the same God who had descended and played the role of a weaver at Kashi in Uttar Pradesh for 120 years. The ignorant people attempted to tie Him with cannon shells, but the attempts to kill God Kabir were merely foolish.

Every little bit of this universe is a slave to the Supreme God. Today, Jagatguru Rampal Ji Maharaj is the only Enlightened Sant in the world. Take Naam Diksha (Initiation) from Him without wasting even a minute to get worldly happiness and later Salvation, by clicking here to fill the initiation from.
