Ram Vilas was ailing for a long time from the cardiac problem, and he was hospitalised in Fortis Escorts hospital, Delhi for several months, and he had undergone heart surgery a few days ago. National Flag Will be Flown Half-Mast to Show Reverence 

To honour Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan, the National Flag will be flown at half-mast for a full day on government buildings to show the reverence towards him. 

Ram Vilas Paswan Cremation  

Through the sources of ‘LJP’, it is informed that the dead body will be brought to Janpath, Delhi, his residential place, and then will be sent to Patna on Saturday for the cremation.

On the demise of Ram Vilas Paswan, many ministers showed their grief and gratitude for him. The list includes Prime minister Narendra Modi, President Ramnath Kovind, Lalu Prasad Yadav, and many others.

“I am saddened beyond words. There is a void in our nation that will perhaps never be filled. Shri Ram Vilas Paswan Ji’s demise is a personal loss. I have lost a friend, valued colleague and someone who was extremely passionate to ensure every poor person leads a life of dignity.”

Founder of the LJP party and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan was from Bihar. He fought 11 elections during his life span and won 9 times. Late Paswan also remained the president of the Lok Janshakti Party. Contemporarily, he was working as a Cabinet minister of Consumer Affairs, food and public distribution in Modi’s Ministry.
