PM Releases 21st Installment from Coimbatore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 21st installment of PM-KISAN during an event in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, where he also inaugurated the South India Natural Farming Summit 2025. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized that India’s agriculture sector has undergone transformative reforms in the past 11 years. He noted that natural farming is gaining national and global prominence, and agricultural exports have doubled. The government, he added, has provided assistance worth more than ₹10 lakh crore through Kisan Credit Cards and simplified GST on bio-fertilisers to support farmers.

The Prime Minister urged farmers to adopt natural farming practices on at least one acre of land for one season to witness “remarkable results.”

What is PM-KISAN? Structure, Amount & Beneficiaries

Launched on February 24, 2019, PM-KISAN provides annual financial assistance of ₹6,000 to eligible landholding farmer families. The amount is disbursed in three equal installments of ₹2,000 directly into their Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts.

Since inception, more than ₹3.70 lakh crore has been transferred to over 11 crore farmer families. A saturation drive under the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra added more than 1 crore new beneficiaries in 2023, and an additional 25 lakh farmers within the first 100 days of the government in June 2024.

The number of beneficiaries for the 18th installment rose to 9.59 crore. Uttar Pradesh had the highest number of beneficiaries (2.34 crore) during the 20th installment cycle.

Eligibility and Mandatory Requirements for PM-KISAN

All landholding farmers’ families with cultivable land in their names are eligible. The following details are mandatory:

  • Farmer/Spouse name
  • Date of birth
  • Aadhaar number
  • Bank account details
  • IFSC/MICR code
  • Mobile number

Beneficiaries must complete e-KYC, ensure land record linkage to Aadhaar, and verify bank accounts. States must maintain updated digital land records and prevent duplication.

Implementation, Monitoring and Fund Recovery

State governments create a verified database of eligible farmers, update land ownership records, and resolve banking issues. Beneficiaries submit self-declarations confirming eligibility.

Monitoring happens at National, State and District levels:

  • National review chaired by the Cabinet Secretary
  • State and District Monitoring Committees ensure compliance
  • Grievance Redressal Committees resolve complaints within 2 weeks

States/UTs are mandated to recover funds disbursed to ineligible farmers, including income tax payees, high-income groups, PSU and government employees. As of August 5, 2025, ₹416 crore has been recovered.

PM-KISAN Portal, Mobile App and Digital Architecture

India’s robust digital infrastructure is central to PM-KISAN’s success. The PM-KISAN portal offers:

  • Verified database of farmers
  • PFMS-linked fund transfer
  • Benefit status and beneficiary list access
  • Location-wise beneficiary availability

The PM-KISAN Mobile App (relaunched in 2023) enables self-registration, status tracking, and face-authentication e-KYC. Farmers can assist 100 others in completing e-KYC. State officials can complete 500 farmers’ e-KYC each.

The Spiritual Lens: How Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj Ji Emerged as a True Savior for Farmers

While government schemes like PM-KISAN continue to bring relief to millions of beneficiaries, one reality remains unquestionable, there were moments a few months ago  when farmers faced situations so severe that even administrative systems struggled to reach them. During those critical phases, Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj stood firmly with the farming community in a way unmatched by any other spiritual leader, businessman, or influential figure.

When thousands of farmers were battling crises forced to abandon their fields, pushed to survive in community chaupal houses, or compelled to live with relatives—when their children studied under dim lights, troubled by mosquitoes, and when many were driven to the brink of hopelessness, only one Saint stepped forward with unwavering support: Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.

Even while being in jail dham, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj Ji’s compassion reached 300+ villages, delivering massive relief that amounted to crores of rupees.

Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj ensured that whatever number of pipes the villagers requested, they received the exact same number and even more than that, and the same with motors — all provided instantly. The quality was never compromised; the motors were of premium Kirloskar brand. Along with this, every essential item like Fevicol, nuts, bolts, and star tools was also supplied without any shortage.

What began in Gurana village of Hisar district soon expanded into a wave of assistance that touched numerous villages including Kandul, Sajjanpur, Dhani Prem Nagar, Aalluka, Ghughera, and many more.

Today, those very families openly express that they had been misinformed for years. They now acknowledge that they once believed rumors and “heard-from-others” opinions. But after experiencing genuine help at their lowest point, they say that truth has revealed itself: the difference between Kathni (claims) and Karni (actions) is now crystal clear.

From Haryana’s fields to remote village chaupals, farmers are now recognizing Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj Ji as a true well-wisher, a guide, and a savior who protected them when no one else did. Their voices echo with gratitude, proclaiming that the grace of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj Ji saved their livelihood and their lives.
