- Iran’s IRGC revolutionary guards seized a container ship named MSC Aries by reaching the ship through helicopter.
- This is an Israeli affiliated Portuguese flagged commercial vehicle which was heading to Jawaharlal Nehru Port in India.
- The MSC Aries has 25 crew members on it and amongst them 17 are Indians.

- Jacob Toukhy, a staff of the United States Agency for International Development was killed in Jaffa, Israel on Friday. However, no details about his killing have been revealed as of now.
