ICN sets out the needs for nursing in the future in order to address the global health challenges and improve global health for all. There is a need to learn the lessons from the pandemic and translate into actions of the future.

ICN wants to highlight the future requirements and demonstrate what value it will create for nursing and healthcare. ‘Our Nurses. Our Future.’ campaign will glare at the nurses and their brighter future.

Aim of International Nurses Day

Nurses and other health workers are crucial in transforming health care and health systems such that no individual is left behind without access to care or left impoverished because of their need for health care. ICN speculates that health is a human right. They are at the vanguard of supporting access to health and nurses are pivotal in providing it.

Guaranteeing that we have enough nurses and other health care workers is an essential enabler of the human right to health. Nurses can be a voice to direct by benefiting a people-centered technique to care and the health system, and by assuring their voices are heard in impacting the planning, health policy, and provision.

Significance of International Nurses Day

One can’t avert the fact that nursing is the largest healthcare profession in the entire world and it is the key factor in achieving Millennium Development Goals (MDG). Various training modules are delivered to the nurses for retaining the health and wellness of the patients. Undoubtedly nurses have profound knowledge of providing the best health care services.

National Nurses Associations (NNAs) play a vital role in providing education, encouraging nurses, informing and advising so that they can provide their work properly. Also, NNA functions with non-governmental and governmental organisations to sustain health care systems.

Importance of IND 2025 during Covid-19 crisis

The Covid-19 pandemic is a stark remembrance of the vital role that nurses play in everyone’s life. Without nurses and other health workers, the world can not win the combat against outbreaks. The world can not achieve universal health coverage or Sustainable Development Goals. As we record this day, we advise all the countries to ensure:

  • The occupational health, safety, and protection of nurses and other health workers. Unbridled access to personal and special protective equipment should be provided so they can safely provide supervision, care, and reduce infections in health care environments.
  • Nurses and other healthcare workers have unhindered access to timely pay, sick leave, mental health support, and medical insurance; as well as access to the most recent guidance and knowledge required to concede to all health needs, including pandemics.
  • Nurses are provided with the financial support and other resources required to help concede to and prevent Covid-19 and future outbursts.

Everyone including nurses, health workers, and patients are exposed to COVID-19 in some or another way. Vaccines are not the ultimate cure, people have died even after taking vaccinations during the pandemic. Amid these crucial circumstances, where science seems handicapped, people look for spiritual solutions. True worship to the Supreme God can even raise a dead person. It is a difficult thing to digest people who are atheist but it is a bitter truth which holds its back by itself.

Wellness Beyond Medicines

We have seen that many people have succumbed to COVID-19 few years ago. Other deadly diseases like Cancer, HIV-AIDS, TB, Ebola, etc have also claimed various lives. The prime reason for this sudden surge in the death count is a signal to humanity that their trust in God and Spiritually is declining day by day. It is the account of their sins which is growing and the methodology to counter sins is still not known to us.

Waking humanity, Jagatguru Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, the only Tatvdarshi Sant as mentioned in verse 34 of chapter 4 of holy Gita ji, has clarified from His spiritual discourses that any religious practice which is not in accordance with our holy scriptures is useless and the reason behind our hardships, unable to give us lasting peace. Even if you have a luxurious life today but if you are not doing true worship, then your future or maybe your next birth is surely into darkness.

Our guaranteed safety can only be ensured by devoting time towards true religious practices as told by Jagatguru Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. Being the sole true descendant of Supreme God Kabir, He is offering the right method of worship to humanity. His countless followers have attained unimaginable benefits from the mantras given by Him, including the extension of life. It is the time to identify the true power, understand His true spiritual knowledge and walk on the path of ultimate bliss.
