Everything Is Temporary, Sadbhakti Is the Ultimate Goal
“Fame, victory and defeat, wealth and fortune, everything will remain in this world only. A person’s devotional wealth is permanent. Everyone is doing arbitrary devotion, like going to temples, observing fasts, but the proper method of devotion is what is mentioned in the scriptures. Only Tatvdarshi saints can tell about this. Small positions in this world are achieved by the earnings of devotion in the previous birth.
Respected Garibdas Ji Maharaj has said that sages performed penance to attain salvation. They could not attain salvation due to a lack of Tatvagyan, but as a result of their penance, they got royal positions in the next births. Thus, after wasting the earnings of their virtue, they are thrown into the cycle of rebirth, where in the next birth they become pig animals.
