CBSE 12th Class Result 2021 Declared: The wait to know the result for the class 12 students is over as CBSE has announced the result of class 12th. And, this year, the result is said to be the best result. Earlier the exams were scheduled to be held between May 4 to June 14, 2021 but because of Covid-19 pandemic, CBSE had to cancel the exams. Students were assessed on the basis of some set criteria such as their performance in class 10th, +1 and +2 sessional units.

Also, for those who are not satisfied with their assessment, CBSE will conduct exams separately between 16 August to 15 September, 2021. A huge leap is recorded in the pass percentage as compared to last year’s results. This time the pass percentage is 99.37 whereas it was 88.78 percent previous.

CBSE 12th Class Result 2021 Key Highlights

• Result was announced on 30 July, 2021 at 2 P.M
• Result was declared on all CBSE  official websites.
• Check results on cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in and results.gov.in.
• Scores of 65,184 candidates have been held back in the ‘results later’ category.
• Girls have outperformed boys.
• Internal assessment during class 12 was taken into account.
• Pass percentage increased from 88.78 to 99.37
• In Delhi, almost all students have passed: 99.83% or 2,74,132 of 2,74,590 candidates in the region.
• Separate exams will be conducted between 16 August to 15 September.
• No merit list has been released yet.
• Students can also check the CBSE result 2021 12th through other alternative methods like SMS, IVRS , UMANG app and Digilocker as provided by the board.

How Students Were Assessed Without Appearing in Exams?

On the basis of Class 10 theory exams, and the marks scored in the three best scoring subjects out of the five main subjects, 30 percent marks were calculated. On the basis of marks scored in Class +1, 30 percent marks were calculated. On the basis of sessionals, unit tests taken in Class 12, students were given 40 percent weightage.
