Today, cancer took away another great actor Rishi Kapoor who was reportedly hospitalized in a hospital of Reliance foundation in Mumbai. He died at 67, he was the younger sibling, elder brother Randhir Kapoor confirmed the news with grief. He lived his last moments with wife Neetu Kapoor after a long fight with cancer in the hospital premises. He got diagnosed with cancer two years ago and stayed under observation for about a year in New York.

He was the second son of well-known actor Raj Kapoor. His siblings Randhir Kapoor, Ritu Nanda, Reema Kapoor, and Rajiv Kapoor are very popular in the film industry. His wife actress Neetu Kapoor and son Ranbir Kapoor also have a great fan following. His daughter Riddhima to return to Mumbai from Delhi today. He made his debut in Bobby (1973) for which he also won a Filmfare award for best actor in 1974.
Some of his early works also include short roles in his father’s film Mera Naam joker before his debut as the lead actor in films including Do dooni chaar, karz and many others. He was honored with a National film award for his role in Mera Naam joker (1970), Filmfare lifetime achievement award in 2008, and many others.

He took his last breath on Wednesday while getting treated for colon infection in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai. тАЬI have surrendered, I believeтАЭ these were the few words from a note he wrote in 2018 while declaring a fight against Cancer. Film fraternity mourned after him by penning their condolences on Twitter. Fans also flooded the social media with RIP Irrfan posts and comments by showing their love and affection for him.

Khan was born in 1966, Jaipur in the family of a tire seller. He pursued as a cricketer in his early life but changed to acting after perceiving that he’s made for something else. He went to a drama school and learned professional acting skills which cultivated and developed him into what the world knows as actor Irrfan Khan. He struggled his way into the Bombay cinema by getting a tiny role as a letter writer in Salaam Bombay which was a successful film by Mira Nair in 1988. His Bollywood debut as a supporting actor was in Haasil (2003) and Maqbool (2004).
