A media baron and film producer Ramoji Rao passes away at 87 due to heart (Cardiovascular) disease. Renowned film producer Ramoji Rao, head of Ramoji Group (the world’s largest film production facilitators) and ETV Network, made significant contributions to the media industry. He not only contributed to media and journalism but also to literature and education. Due to these great contributions, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second-highest civilian honor.

Funeral Arrangements of Ramoji Rao
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, with the help of Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, has ordered officials to arrange for the final rights of Ramoji Rao. The mortal remains of Ramoji Rao have been moved to his residence at Ramoji Film City.
The Andhra government has ordered two days of mourning after Ramoji Rao’s death, and they have appointed three IAS officers for his funeral to follow the final rights.
The mourning has been scheduled on Saturday and Monday, from June 9th at 9 AM to 10th June. Flags will be flown at half-mast in all courts, collectorates, and government offices or places. All joyous moment celebrations will be banned during these two days of mourning in Andhra Pradesh.

Cherukuri Ramoji Rao was born on 16 November 1936 in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, India, into an agricultural family. After education, he with his enterprising spirit and passion for entrepreneurship established several great ventures.
