आज की इस आधुनिक चकाचौन्ध में शादियों पर लाखों खर्च होते हैं व कानफाड़ू डीजे बजाए जाते हैं जो कि किसी बीमार, बुजुर्ग के लिए बिलकुल भी ठीक नहीं। ऐसे में एक ऐसी शादी भी देखने को मिली जिसमें किसी प्रकार का कोई शोरगुल नहीं, न ही महंगे पकवान, न ही कोई पंडित और न ही कोई बाराती व घराती। सिर्फ 17 मिनट में परमत्मा की वाणी को पढ़कर सम्पन्न हुआ दहेजमुक्त विवाह।

मेहमानों के लिए सन्त रामपाल जी के सत्संग का आयोजन किया गया। भोज के नाम पर सिर्फ चाय व बिस्कुट की व्यवस्था थी। श्रीगंगानगर जिले के दुल्लापुर केरी गांव में हुई इस अजीब शादी में दहेज का कहीं नामोनिशान तक नहीं दिखा। बिलकुल साधारण कपड़ों में आये इस जोड़े ने बताया कि जगतगुरु तत्वदर्शी सन्तरामपाल जी महाराज के समाजसुधार विचारों को पुस्तक जीने की राह से पढ़कर इन्होंने ऐसी अनोखी शादी करने का फैसला किया है।

इस अनोखी शादी को देखने आसपास के गांवों से हजूम उमड़ पड़ा व सबने इसकी बहुत सराहना की।
