NTA NEET Exam 2020 on September 13

The Entrance cum National Eligibility Test (NEET) for acceptance to undergraduate medical and allied programs and courses is going to be held tomorrow on Sunday, September 13. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to be the conducting body which has issued a lengthy list of instructions and guidelines for the 15.67 lakh candidates who are going to appear in the exam. The NEET exam in the past years already had stringent rules, comprising a specific NEET dress code and some other stuff to carry to the exam center as well.

NEET 2020: Self-Declaration Form by Aspirants

The COVID-19 outbreak has further lengthened and tightened the rules, regulations, and restrictions for the aspirants. The NEET September exam day protocols now include aspirants bringing a “self-declaration form,” which shows their health status. This year, the NEET-UGG for entry to medical colleges is going to be held from 2 to 5 in the afternoon across 3,842 centers.

NTA Provided Choice to Alter the Exam Center Towns

National Testing Agency this year has also provided the aspirants with choices to alter the exam center towns. A total of 95,000 aspirants had benefited from the facility, and their revised and modified selection of exam center towns has been non-accommodated. Nonetheless, on September 10, long after delivering the NEET exam admit cards, the NTA changed about 44 exam centers due to the enactment of COVID-19 preventive measures.

NEET 2020: Guidelines by NTA

•Social distancing should be maintained, and overcrowding should be avoided on the NEET 2020 exam day. To do so, aspirants will be allocated different time-slots, which will make them report to the exam centers at different times.

•NEET candidates must report to the exam centers before 1 pm. As per NTA, the examinees will be given the test papers at 1:45 pm.

•The final entrance time into the exam hall is 1:30 pm.

NEET 2020: Dress Code

Candidates are permitted to wear flip flops and low heel sandals. Closed footwear is not allowed. Thick soled shoes or footwear and dresses with huge buttons are not allowed. Light clothing with half and full sleeves are not allowed. NEET candidates who wear particular apparel for customary or religious reasons must report to the exam centers in prior.

NEET 2020: Covid-19 Advisory

The COVID-19 advisory has been issued to all bodies linked with the organizing of medical examinations. It is also called the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), which has been formulated by the prime medical professionals of All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS), to retain a secure and safe atmosphere for all the folks – from aspirants to faculty involved in the examination. NEET 2020: SOPs During NEET Exam

  • The aspirants would be thermally inspected before coming into the campus. If their body temperature must prevail and stay under 37.4° Celsius.
  • If their body temperature is more than 37.4° Celsius; they will be moved to the Isolation Room.
  • The COVID-19 local helpline number will be displayed prominently at the exam centers.
  • After fulfillment of the examination, the aspirants would be allowed to move out systematically – only one candidate at a time.
  • The masks and gloves must be disposed of in a pedal push wrapped bin outside the exam hall.

NEET 2020: Special Train and Metro Services

The Metro Rail in Calcutta has instructed to operate 66 special metro trains on September 13 in a proposition to lessen the travel woes of numerous NEET candidates, Metro Rail spokesman Indrani Banerjee said.

According to officials of Western Railway, two superfast express special trains with second class seating and sleeping coaches all reserved for the NEET aspirants will run from Somnath to Ahmedabad and Vapi to Ahmedabad on Saturday.

The East Coast Railway has been instructed to run four pairs of special trains on Saturday and Sunday for the aspirants of the NEET 2020 Exam.

Indian Rail has instructed to run four pairs of special trains from September 4 to September 15 for the amenity of candidates appearing in the NEET 2020 exam in Rajasthan, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh
