JEE Main Result 2020: Algorithm
The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main) 2020 results are about to come out, and the maximum number of students would be striving to recognize the calculation system of Percentile and All India Rank.
JEE Main 2020 results are going to be deduced through the process of normalization. The exam was held over many sessions on different days. It is relatively apparent that some competitors may get an easy paper while others might have to resolve more challenging problems and questions in JEE Main 2020 exam. To make sure that no student advantages or is at a benefit due to this, the process of normalization would be acquired and adopted to determine JEE Main ranks and results. National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to rank the aspirants based on the percentile score achieved in the exam. This percentile score is going to be evaluated and calculated as per a pre-determined formula, which can be found on the NTAs official website.
Percentile Score
The percentile score is going to be founded on the comparative performance of all the candidates coming across the exam. The total would be acquired after modifying the scores into a scale ranging from 0 to 100 for each session of aspirants.
According to the official National Testing Agency’s website, “The Percentile Score implies the percentage of aspirants that have marked below or equal to (lower or same raw scores) that specific Percentile in that exam. Thus, the highest scorer (topper) of each session obtains an identical Percentile of 100, which is preferable. The results obtained in between the lowest and highest counts are also modified to applicable Percentiles.”
Percentage vs Percentile
Percentage and the Percentile of totals are two completely different things. Therefore, candidates must not confuse themselves between both terms.
The percentile score of an aspirant would indicate how many aspirants have marked below that aspirant in the exam. A Percentile score is a value below which a specific percent of observances fall, while the percentage is the score out of 100.
National Testing Agency administered the JEE Main 2020 exam in two endeavors: January and September. Since the exam was carried in multiple transitions each day across the two sessions, the numbering and calculation of marks to a single percentile score are achieved through a normalization method.
Normalization
Normalization is the method of recognizing an aspirant’s actual merit or rank by developing the same level playing field for every candidate. The same process is utilized in different examinations across the nation to settle identical issues.
JEE Main 2020 Marks Formula
National Testing Agency evaluates and calculates the percentile scores up to 7 decimal points, in order to avoid the bunching impact and lessen tie-breaking.
Session-wise Preparation of Results
Diffusion of candidates in two days and two shifts each day aspirants would be allocated into four sessions randomly so that each session has a roughly proportional number of aspirants. There were four sessions in total, with two shifts each day.
Raw Scores for JEE Main 2020
Percentiles Scores individually for each physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, along with the total score, would be evaluated and calculated for each aspirant during each session.
The percentile scores for the total Raw Score of all the four sessions as evaluated according to the formula would be merged and known as the NTA marks. It would then be utilized for the collection of outcomes and preparation of overall JEE Main 2020 Merit List and Ranking.
The Percentile of all four sessions would be evaluated individually to deduce the Raw Scores in three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics also the Total Raw Score.
JEE Advanced 2020

Significance of Education
Approximately 600 years ago, when Almighty God Kabir Ji appeared in Kashi, India, He used to educate us the scripture-based real and true spiritual knowledge. During that period, only the Brahmin and upper caste were authorized and allowed to get educated. So, when Lord Kabir Ji used to tell, “Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva are in the vicious cycles of birth and death. Allah/God is in form and not formless. These Qazis and Brahmins were themselves unaware of their religious Books.”; those fake Spiritual Leaders used to deceive and mislead us by saying, “Kabir is uneducated. How can he know what is inscribed in the holy scriptures? He is fooling us.”
Because of this, Almighty God Kabir allowed education to be widespread so that we can read the Holy Books. It will help us to identify our Creator by doing true worship according to the Holy Scriptures after taking initiation from a true spiritual leader Saint Ramal Ji Maharaj.
