The National Democratic Alliance has suffered another major setback on the issue of farmers. The National Democratic Party (RLP) has left the NDA. The party’s convenor and MP from Nagaur Hanuman Beniwal has announced this. Beniwal had announced to travel from Rajasthan to Delhi on December 26 with 2 lakh farmers in support of the farmers movement.
The BJP is the largest party among all NDA allies, which is trying to explain the benefits of the agricultural law to the farmers. On the other hand, farmers have been agitating on the Delhi’s Singhu, Tikri , Gazipur border and in other places from the past 30 days.
RLP Against New Farmers’ Bill: Highlighted Points
- RLP has come in the support of the farmers with the massive demonstration against farmers’ bill.
- RLP leader Hanuman Beniwal said it that he will not join Congress.
- Earlier Shri Shiromani Akali Dal has also left NDA just because of the farmers protest against farmers law.
- The Great Saint Kabir ji alerted through His Speech that the king (Raja) or anyone should not take pride after attaining Rajbhog and should not persecute others. The king is always changing. A person does not live forever. One should remember that one day everyone would have to leave Rajpada and other worldly things.
Why BJP’s Ally RLP Left NDA?
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is engaged in convincing the farmers on the issue of central agricultural laws, on the other hand, its own allies have opened a front against these laws.

Before the RLP, the Akali Dal has also left the NDA to protest against the agricultural laws. On 26 December, Hanuman Beniwal reached Kotputli with hundreds of farmers . He called for Delhi to travel with two lakh farmers. Beniwal headed towards Shahjahanpur in Haryana border with farmers gathered in hundreds from several districts of Rajasthan including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kotputli, Alwar, Nagaur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur.

National Democratic Party (RLP) convenor and MP from Nagaur, Hanuman Beniwal, had announced his resignation from the post of member of three committees of Parliament in support of the peasant movement and on issues of public interest. The MP sent his resignation to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
The main reason for Beniwal’s resignation was a case of breach of privilege in the case related to the attack on him in Barmer, in which even after the intervention of Parliament, the case was not filed for a year and action was not taken.
