GATE Exam 2021: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)
GATE 2021 will be organized by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. GATE examination is a Computer Based Test (CBT). GATE 2021 score remains effective for THREE YEARS from the results announcement dates. GATE 2021 will be conducted for 27 Subjects.

What Is Significance of GATE Exam 2021
GATE qualification is a compulsory prerequisite for obtaining admission and/or financial assistance in Postgraduate Programs (Master’s and Doctoral) with Ministry of Education (MoE). It is also required to obtain other Government Scholarships / Assistantships, fulfilling the admission criteria of the admitting institute. The GATE score is used by few PSUs for their recruitment. Many other universities in India and abroad use the score for admissions.
GATE Exam 2021 Date, Website, Guidelines and Admit Card
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay is all set to conduct GATE 2021 from February 5 to 14, 2021. IIT Bombay has issued GATE 2021 exam day instructions for the benefit of students on its website, gate.iitb.ac.in. The centre-based exam will be held amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the candidates are supposed to follow the guidelines at the time of appearing in GATE 2021 Exam.
The institute has already released GATE hall tickets. Candidates who have not downloaded the admit cards should see the GOAPS portal. They should login with their enrolment ID or email and password.
When Is the GATE Exam 2021 conducted?
On February 5, IITB will host miscellaneous activities including mock tests trial by zonal officials, briefing to center invigilators, scribes selection, planning of exam centres, and optional trip by candidates at exam centres. Gate 2021 Exam will begin on February 6. As per schedule, other exam papers will be held on February 7, 13 and 14.
