Chapare Virus: Who Is Our Real Saviour?

Scientists of the American Center for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed that the Chapare virus has the potential to infect people and can cause hemorrhagic fever such as Ebola. Although, Ebola was also considered very dangerous initially, but soon after the efforts of scientists, the disease was controlled. As if now, there is very limited information about Chapare viurs’s progression of signs, symptoms and the incubation period. Humans can only escape from the viruses, bacteria and protozoa by taking shelter of Saviour Saint.

Chapare Virus: Points To Know About Chapare Virus

  • The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently discovered a rare virus in Bolivia, the chapare virus. The Chapare virus causes Chapare hemorrhagic fever (CHHF).
  • The ‘Chapare’ virus is capable of human-to-human transmission, and belongs to a family of viruses that can cause fevers, such as Ebola.
  • The virus is believed to be carried by rats, which in turn may have passed it to humans.
  • An infected person can then spread the illness to other people through contact with the patient’s body fluids.
  • There is currently no treatment for CHHF (Chapare hemorrhagic fever ).

What Is the Chapare Virus?

The Chapare virus is in the arenavirus family. Arenaviruses are usually spread to people through direct contact with infected rodents or indirectly through the urine or feces of an infected rodent.

Chapare hemorrhagic fever (CHHF) is a viral hemorrhagic fever which is caused by infection due to Chapare virus. According to the CDC, symptoms of infection include :

  • Fever
  • Abdominal pain
  • Vomiting
  • Eye pain
  • Skin rashes
  • Bleeding gums

The Incubation Period of Chapare Virus

The incubation period, or the time between initial exposure to the development of symptoms, is variable and ranges from 4-21 days for arenaviruses.

What Treatment Is Given to Chapare Virus Infected Patients?

Most patients get treatment with intravenous fluids due to lack of specific treatment for the infection.

How Chapare Virus Spreads?

Chapare virus is typically transmitted either through direct or indirect contact with the saliva, urine, and droppings of infected rodents. The direct contact may include bites and scratches by infected rodents.

Why Is This Virus Called the Chapare Virus?

Chapare, also called the Chapare and is pronounced Cha-pa-reh, is a rural province in the northern region of Cochabamba Department in central Bolivia where this virus was first occurred.

When Did the Chapare Virus Occur?

This virus first occurred in 2003 in Chapare Province, Bolivia, which resulted in one fatal case. The second outbreak occurred in 2019 in Caranavi Province, Bolivia and resulted in five confirmed cases, three of which were fatal.

How It Came Into Notice?

The case of ‘Chapare virus’ infection was revealed in 2019. Three health workers from two patients were infected in La Paz, Bolivia. One of them a patient and two medical staff died due to infection. Scientists say that in 2003, a small outbreak of the virus spread in the Chapare area. Chapare is 370 miles east of La Paz. The CDC’s infectious disease specialist, Katlin Cosaboom, told a newspaper that the ‘body fluids’ could possibly spread the virus. Viruses transmitted by bodily fluids can be easily controlled compared to respiratory viruses.

Comments of Scientists and Researchers on Chapare Virus

Scientists say that the infection varies from humans to humans shows that more research is needed on the virus so that the outbreak that can spread in future can be avoided.

  • Some researchers expressed satisfaction for the rapid detection of the virus at the initial stage.
  • Researchers confirmed that Rodents are the reservoir for Chapare virus and also for Lassa virus.
  • There is a specific category of the Rodents which are infected and transmitting this kind of virus are called ” Pigmy Rice Rat ” and this was found in Bolivia’s neighbouring countries.
  • CDC Researchers of the U.S Center of disease control and prevention also reported that this virus was spreading from a very long time by being unknown because it can be easily misdiagnosed as ‘Dengue’ .

“We have isolated the virus and we expect more common disease to be revealed.”

— CDC pathologist Maria Morales said.

What Could Be the Preventions for Chapare Virus?

People can only escape from the virus by following the preventions.

As it is spreading from Rodents so the people are required to be cautious of the Rodents and remove them from their houses by closing all holes and it also spreads from urine and saliva of the Infected Rodents so make sure to clean everything or especially utensils before use. To be more cautious, if any person is infected with a virus then don’t make direct contact with that person directly as it spreads from human to human through their fluids.

Here is all you need to know about viruses and related fevers:

What Is a Virus?

A virus is a submicroscopic infectious agent that replicates only inside the living cells of an organism. Viruses infect all types of life forms, from animals and plants to microorganisms, including bacteria and archaea. Viruses are found in almost every ecosystem on Earth and are the most numerous type of biological entity.

What Is Ebola Virus?

Ebola is a virus and it is known as a hemorrhagic fever virus, because the clotting problems lead to internal bleeding, as blood leaks from small blood vessels in the body. The virus also causes inflammation and tissue damage.

What Is Hemorrhagic Fever?

Viral hemorrhagic fevers (VHFs) are a group of illnesses caused by four families of viruses. These include the Ebola and Marburg, Lassa fever, and yellow fever viruses. VHFs have common features: they affect many organs, they damage the blood vessels, and they affect the body’s ability to regulate itself.

Our Saviour Is Our God

Well! There is no end of the diseases and viruses found on this earth and the list goes on and on. Every year people die because of numerous diseases like Heart stroke, Influenza, Diabetes, Nephritis, cancer, TB, AIDS and now a new born virus threat called Corona. Even there are many unexpected other reasons which kill millions of people daily and they unknowingly lost their important human birth. But the Supreme Power of Supreme God which only can save us from all the virus attacks and diseases because neither these viruses are going to stop evolving nor scientists stop researching and developing new medicines.

But do you know that you can still live healthy and safe life just by doing True Worship?

Spirituality holds the power to keep you safe and secure from all the negativity and diseases of the world. All you need to have is the devotion and full faith towards that ‘Almighty’ who is omnipotent.

Medicinal treatments have small effects and research could take years and years to be successful. By the time scientists are able to find a cure and medicine for some disease, then another new disease is revealed. No successful medicines of corona virus have been made yet. The only way to stay safe is surrender yourself in the shelter of Supreme God who can guard you from everything. For this, listen to the Satsang of Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj.
