Famous Indian Comedic Actor Satish Kaushik passes away at 66. Examination states heart attack (Myocardial Infarction) to be the reason for his death. His manager told the media that Mr. Kaushik was at his farmhouse in Delhi’s Bijwasan when he felt discomfort in the middle of the night. He was rushed to Fortis Hospital, but he could not survive the attack. Last rites of Kaushik were done at the Versova Crematorium this Thursday.

Comedic Star Kaushik Passed Away At 66: What Happened?

Kaushik’s Manager Santosh Rai told the media that Kaushik left for his farmhouse past the Holi Event. He slept at his house and called Santosh complaining about breathlessness. He was Rushed to the Fortis Hospital at Gurugram, but he could not survive the attack. 

Kaushik’s body was shifted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for the autopsy. Soon after the autopsy, Kaushik’s body was handed over to the family this morning.

Mr Kaushik arrived last night at his farm house at Delhi’s Bijwasan to celebrate Holi. He also attended the Holi party at Javed-Shabana’s home at Delhi. After playing Holi festival he tweeted.

Satish Kaushik Family and Early Life 

Famous Actor, Filmmaker, Comedian and Screenwriter Satish Kaushik was born on 13 April 1956 in Dhanounda Village, Mahendragarh, Haryana. Kaushik was from a low income family. He worked at a cloth mill for just 400 rupees before his career in movies. He completed his graduation from Kirori Mal College of Delhi University. He was an alumnus at the National School of Drama (New Delhi). Kaushik married Shashi in 1985. He had a son named Shanu Kaushik who died at the age of two. The actor also has a daughter Vanshika. 

Contribution to the Bollywood 

Kaushik made several contributions to Bollywood. He directed a number of films. He also played major roles in several films.

He directed his first movie in 1993 starring Anil Kapoor, Sridevi Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Anupam Kher. The film, which was expected to be a blockbuster, failed at the box office and critics slammed it for poor dialogues and monotonous music. After the failure of his debut, he made a comeback with another film with film stars Anil Kapoor, Kajol, Anupam Kher and Shakti Kapoor. Kaushik then directed successful films between 2001 to 2014. Late Satish Kaushik made his debut in production with his movies in 1995.

• The Late Veteran Actor also played significant comedic roles in many films. For his role in a film,  the actor also won the maiden Filmfare Award for Best Comedian. He also played the role of BBC (Banke Bihari Chaturvedi) in a movie with stars  Hema Malini, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit.
• The Actor also played many iconic comedic roles in his career. In 2008, the actor also played a significant role in a film. In the next few years, Mr. Satish played both comedic and serious roles in few films. In 2016, the actor played a role in the crime drama.
