The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has announced the Intelligence Bureau’s Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Tier-I 2021 exam date and admit card on its official website at www.mha.gov.in. The IB ACIO Tier-I 2021 Exam is scheduled to start on the 18th of February. The final date for the exam will be the February 20. The exam will be administered in three shifts each day at several centers across the country.
IB ACIO Exam 2021: Highlights

IB ACIO Exam 2021 Exams’s Phases
The IB ACIO exam for the appointment of Assistant Central Intelligence Officers in the Intelligence Bureau will be carried in three phases which are online exams, a descriptive exam, and a personal interview. For each exam, IB ACIO admits cards will be released, which aspirants can download from the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs. IB ACIO Exam 2021: How Will Online Exams Take Place?
The IB ACIO online exam will constitute questions from quantitative aptitude, general awareness, logical ability and reasoning, and English language. In this exam, there will be negative marking in which one-fourth of the total marks allocated to a particular question will be deducted for every wrong answer attempted.
How Will Descriptive Exams Be Conducted?
The number of aspirants equal to ten times the number of openings will be shortlisted to the descriptive exam based on their scores in the Tier-I exam. The nomination will be subject to the aspirant scoring the minimum cut-off which will be thirty-four for those belonging to OBC and EWS categories, thirty-five marks for candidates belonging to an unreserved category, and thirty-three for the rest. The successful applicants of the exam can check their admit cards and other details like exam date, time, and venue by using their registration number and password.
Important Notices for the Aspirants About IB ACIO Exam 2021
‘The aspirants would be required to hold to the instructions contained in the call letter/admit card of online exam, descriptive exam, and interview relating to conduct inside the venue, frisking, entry/exit, etc. Failing any of it would result in the cancellation of their candidature,’ it has been mentioned in the IB ACIO exam notice.
Aspirants have to sign the admit card, after downloading it. ‘Candidates may assure that the signature uploaded by them is visible since they (aspirants) would be required to append signature on attendance sheets and admit cards and during successive stages of examination and any difference in the signature could induce them unfit for the examination,’ the exam notice reads.

On the exam day, aspirants have to carry passport size-colored photographs (similar to the ones they have uploaded on the application form) and carry an original copy of their identity proof.
