Christmas or Holiday celebrations date at least 2000 years before Christ. The evidence for it can be found in the book “The Two Babylons” by Alexander Hislop. Many cultures such as Egyptians, Syrians, Persians were celebrating pagan gods around the time of winter solstice much before Jesus Christ was born
